R. Thomas Riley is our featured writer for the month of September. He is technically the first member of our sophomore class of featured authors. After reading his first collection, Through the Glass Darkly, it's easy to see why he's one of horror's up-and-comers.

Apex editor Mari Adkins had the opportunity to interview the talented Mr. Riley and put him through her infamous interrogation methods.
